Reem Ali
Reem Ali (b. 1996) is a Saudi visual artist based in Paris. Her work explores the intimate and existential
dimensions of everyday life through photography and video installations, focusing on the duality of
intimacy and isolation. She captures quiet gestures and the subtle emotional pressures embedded in
domestic spaces, reflecting on women’s inner lives as sites of care, survival, and continuous renewal.
With a background in Biology, Reem brings a careful, observant approach to her art, creating reflective,
immersive environments that invite viewers to engage with the layered complexities of human
experience.
Following successful presentations in Paris galleries, Reem Ali’s latest exhibition, On Practicing Recovery,
makes its Middle East debut in Dubai, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience her deeply
introspective and poetic work in the region.
